Bikram Yoga
A vigorous and specific series of 26 Hatha Yoga postures. Designed to give the entire body a complete workout in 90 minutes. The Bikram method systematically stretches and strengthens every muscle, ligament, tendon, and joint as well as stimulates the organs, glands and nervous system. The mind will become clearer and focused as a result of the concentration required to perform the Bikram series. Tone, Stretch, and Strengthen. Come prepared to work hard. Done in a hot room to facilitate deeper stretching and to remove toxins from the body. From beginners to advanced, all levels are welcome and will enjoy the full body workout and deep relaxation of the class. For newcomers please come prepared and a little early for preliminary instruction.
Preparation for a Bikram yoga class

Make sure to drink at least a ½ to a full liter of water in the hour before class

Bring a water bottle to class and a small towel

Come on an empty stomach. No food 2 1/2 to 4 hours before class is ideal

Wear exercise shorts, a swimsuit, a leotard, stretch pants, tank tops or sports bras. You want clothes to be close to your body nothing too bulky or loose.

If you have a yoga mat bring it - if not a large towel will do

Room is heated from 90-110°
